Utica’s
MGB Boiler incorporates an advanced combustion design
using atmospheric burners. This design, coupled with
electronic ignition and flue dampers, delivers fuel
efficiencies up to 84.1%.
Special
design and packaging features make the MGB Boiler easy
to install and maintain – even in spaces less than four
feet high. An integrated flue collector and draft hood
eliminates the need for an unsightly draft diverter.
And, its automatic stack damper saves fuel dollars by
preventing valuable heated air from escaping up the
chimney.
As with
all Utica gas-fired residential boilers, the MGB
features long life cast iron heat exchangers, durable
metal push nipples, corrosion resistant stainless steel
burners and reliable Honeywell ignition components.
STANDARD
EQUIPMENT: Boiler jacket, cast iron boiler battery,
combination aquastat relay, theraltimeter gauge,
circulator with return piping to boiler, main gas
burner, combination 24-volt gas control, A.S.M.E. relief
valve, drain cock, stack damper and wiring harness,
blocked-vent and roll-out safety switches, thermocouple,
and non-lining safety pilot.
OPTIONAL
EQUIPMENT: Interrupted electronic ignition pilot system,
combustible floor kit.
EXPLANATORY NOTES
All
boilers are design-certified for installation on
non-combustible floor.
For
installation on combustible floors, use combustible
floor kit #325-2-8.00. This will increase dimension "D"
approximately 1 13/16 inches.
**Recommended chimney height 20 feet. In special cases
where conditions permit, chimney height may be reduced
to 10 feet.
*For
elevations above 2000 feet, ratings should be reduced at
a rate of 4% for each 1000 feet above sea level.
Net I=B=R
ratings include 15% allowance for normal piping and
pickup load. Manufacturer should be consulted on
installation having other than normal piping and pickup
requirements. |
